Mark Palmer
Board Chair
Mark currently serves the Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin as Board Chair. Mark is the Executive Director of the Abell-Hanger Foundation and has served in that role since 2016. Previously, he was the Executive Director of the Nonprofit Management Center of the Permian Basin.  He started his professional career as a teacher and spent ten years in the classroom. He is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Psychology. He is married to Susan and has two children, Preston (26) and Samuel (22).
