Danna is the Program and Outreach Coordinator for the Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin, specifically for the Trans-Pecos area. As a graduate from UTPB with a degree in public relations, Danna is no stranger to the importance of networking and collaboration to foster services across the community. She has over ten years of nonprofit work experience—having worked for Odessa Links and SHARE. During her time at SHARE, she initiated the ongoing partnership with Ector County Library’s sensory story time, allowing children with disabilities to enjoy a story, which further underscores her profound ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and making sure they feel supported, included, and valued. She leads with compassion, integrity, and a collaborative spirit to improve the quality of life for those she serves. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and she also enjoys running 5Ks at the local and statewide level from time to time.
