The tradition of Ladies for Literacy began with Barbara Bush, where a dynamic group of women carried forth her legacy in literacy. Now, the Permian Basin begins its tribute and group, Laura Bush Ladies for Literacy, after our beloved Laura Bush. LBLL is a project of the Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin.
