The Literacy Coalition of the Permian Basin is honored to welcome acclaimed author Robert M. Edsel for an exclusive Laura Bush Ladies for Literacy evening centered on his newly released book, Remember Us.
 
This elegant, members-only gathering offers a unique book club-style experience featuring a thoughtful presentation and discussion with Edsel, whose work explores powerful themes of courage, sacrifice, remembrance, and the enduring impact of storytelling. Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live piano music in an intimate setting, followed by a personal book signing.

Laura Bush Ladies for Literacy is a community of women dedicated to advancing literacy and education across the Permian Basin. Members play a vital role in supporting programs that empower adults and families through reading, workforce readiness, and lifelong learning.
 
LBLL is entering an exciting new season of growth and purpose. With expanded community involvement and more opportunities to serve, members will play a hands-on role in strengthening literacy efforts across our region. This revitalized direction will include deeper engagement with local programs, meaningful volunteer initiatives, and new ways to connect resources to the people who need them most.
